So I haven’t really had any progress with ideas pertaining to the pegasus’ (RD and Flutters) designs, but I didn’t want to seem dead. Here are some concept sketches I’ve done over the past few weeks, mainly of Nightmare Moon’s design. I was inspired by Chrysalis’ reveal and transformation into her original self, mainly the creepy silhouette part of it. I thought that would be very fitting for Grumpus McDarkHorse, considering she’s the ruler of the eternal night and what-have-you. She’ll usually appear as a silhouette for the first good chunk of the chapter, albeit unless there’s a zoomed in shot or I want to get an expression across.
Other than Nightmare, there’s a bit of Ryoma and a small height comparison chart next to a family-man Optimus Prime.
Seems kinda odd to have Mazinger Z and Getter Robo as Optimus’ children when they’re not only semi-sentient mechas and not alien robots but also predate him by quite a few years lol
Optimus is Prime Dad Material.
