Is that a bomb collar? Honestly, this ‘series’ gives me the impression (being unfamiliar with the characters) of a griffon slaver who takes a certain mare as a slave, but ends up taking a liking to her, feeling both desire and affection towards her. It’s… surprisingly sweet, and a scenario I like but don’t see often.
 
I could be totally wrong though. But I still think it’s sweet.
