A little, I’ve been on kind of a hiatus these last few years due to financial reasons. But I plan on re-writing the first two chapters of this series I had been working on. I just need to get a decent word processing program like Word again. I actually had planned on incorporating the land of Equestria into my series as if it existed as a type of super-continent (think as the entire land mass of Alaska had merged with Canada due to a millenia of tectonic shifts)
Anyway the story I was working was more of a “generalised” series. As in it didn’t just focus on one set of characters from a set universe, but several. Like Sonic and the characters from the Archie timeline including Knuckles and the characters of his run during the Archie timeline, Crash Bandicoot and his sister Coco, as well as a few other characters from other videogame franchises that I won’t go into detail.
The whole premise of the story is that all of these characters reside in this pseudo-comic universe (again, think Marvel, DC, Image, ect). So the setting was that it took place in an alternate timeline based off the Sonic-Archie universe. Years after Robotnick is more or less…defeated (killed) eveyone involved in the effort tries to move on and rebuild their lives. Humans (Overlanders) and Mobians brokered peace and begun to rebuild from the ruins of Robotnick’s failed empire. Everything seemed to improve for the better, until the riots broke out. Criminals and anarchists Soon took advantage of the frailty they saw in the alliance. These incidents would become known as the First Uprising.
Rioting and protests seem like an almost day to day occurance in New Mobotropolis, all the while some uknown entity seems to be pulling the strings from behind the scenes.
So in a nutshell, Sonic and co go from rag-tag freedom fighters to become a motley-crew of vigilantes. Not in a “Oh-no! the city’s in trouble?! Let’s go!” kind of way but in a more personal reasons kind of way. I’m still working out the kinks in my head.

Call me a huge dork, but I constantly cross-reference Sunset, Celestia and Discord at the end scene of Batman’s confrontaition of Jason Todd as he holds the Joker hostage. Like Sunset is Celestia’s greatest failure and How Celestia blames herself for not being able to save her in time and you have Discord as the Joker who is just revelling in the moment.

Yeah, just last year or before, they did a run where Batman crossed paths with the TMNT just to team up against Shredder and the Joker. That was released before the DVD/Blue-Ray.
