Probably i guess but i think we still should be careful in the future,less we loose our collective in a path of no-return.The old world may be dying but as Antonio Gramsci warned us,as the new world struggle to be born monster may arise from that mix of light and darkness

Relentless technological interaction created a human race addicted to calculation and quantification. A virtual and digital sixth continent emerged in parallel to the physical world, and the use of electronic tools allowed human access. The old world of values was disappearing with technology faster than thought. But the new world had, for the most part, arisen without a thoughtful architecture or blueprint.̀

I applaud that change, since it’s evidence that society is progressing, and the worst thing for a society is stagnancy… Just look to the Holy Roman Empire for evidence of that.

For me this is less about pop culture and more about what values Internet is taughting us and Our PreciousChildrens TM (especially 4chan culture) i know i shouldnt probably sound so bitter,scared of the future and “those damn kids and their memes” at 26 years old and i shouldnt start a debate about many many aspects of Internet culture (vigilantism,nihilism,“irony poisoning”) but when you were born in the nineties like me and you saw the world moving so fast,you get a little dizzy,you surprise yourself thinking “back in my days” when you just left university and you feel a bit guilty about sounding like your parents so soon

New Headcanon, in Princess Celestia’s bedroom is a collection of snow globes for every world she has visited through her collection of magic mirrors, there’s one snow globe with a tiny earth suspended inside of it.
