Yeah, I figured people would cheat. ;)
 
In retrospect, if I was making it again, I probably would have had Applejack’s “HOWDY!” only come up at the end along with the “SURPRISE!” rather than being there the whole time. (And maybe just left the “WAIT FOR IT…” up on the sign until it switched to “SURPRISE!”) But this still works.
