Unfortunately that doesn’t make him or his crude insults towards others in and outside of his art any less toxic. 🤷 I, and I imagine many others never scowled at him for drawing what he wants, we scowled at him because he spends his time dispensing rude labels and generalizations against a fandom and the individuals within it for no good reason.
So yes, he can absolutely draw what he wants, but toxic people have no place in the lives of fans who know better than to get triggered by shock factors on the internet, and that doesn’t change just because said person happens to be creatively expressing that toxicity.

I realized a few days ago that people like you are not the problem, that it’s the Twitterites and Tumblrinas of the world, insistent on pushing their SJW agenda on everybody at the cost of driving wedges between fans and pushing people out of the fandom. Keep drawing what you want, Curt; you’re not hurting anybody. And at the end of the day, I will always side with artists over assholes who think they can tell others what to draw and say.
