gale is technically not wrong, since by that definition, anyone who is not normally formed, or is unusual, is a freak, including transgenders, two-headed ponies, and lawyers with a conscience.
gale is actually very wrong, since “freak” also has the unspoken connotation of being diseased, dangerous, unstable and/or horrifying, none of which apply.
