I guess it might seem that way at first if you are new to the game but eventually as you get more shops, you start getting Bits at a rate where you can easily buy expansion spaces and whatever you need to continue the main quests. After awhile Bits basically become useless since there will be nothing to buy with them.
@Neko Majin C
Yeah, but I mean after only making a small amount of progress, you hit a wall. The amount of money you make is pitiful and everything costs way too much.
@Dickard
It is a farming game. You collect resources and use those resources to unlock more resources. Up until you get to a certain level, it is relatively free-ish. Also, you can collect ponies.
@Background Pony #3095
They share the same build, but Older Twilight isn’t a recolor. You know, the entire Mane 6 share the same build but they aren’t recolors of each other!
@Neko Majin C
Don’t stress too much about it. And don’t think Gameloft will change the way these work. I see too many people spending money on it, so yeah, just inf Gameloft’s greed.
If this event lasted just four more hours than it is supposed to, I could get Luster Dawn’s final outfit. And, possibly, theoretically, Future Twilight Sparkle.
I probably could have bought at least one of the helpers but I used up all my saved up gems a few months ago, thinking there was no point to continue stockpiling them.
Anyway, this quest will probably repeat one more time since usually there’s a second chance with each of these limited time quests.
@KimiKu
It’s $63 for the three bundles for me. If the final battle uses the same helpers as the second last, I could beat it but I’d need to pay $63 just to beat an event that I have been actively working on all week
There used to be little to warnings on this game but then some kid spend hundred or thousands with a parent’s credit card and Gameloft was forced to add in the “real money” warning everywhere.
@Neko Majin C
sadly this is why stopped playing the game. I really like it, the pony models are cute and well done and I like creating the towns, but it became a money devouring monster, when I stooped by the same amount of money I needed to buy all the new ponies on the current event I could buy a complete game for my wiiU or more Magic: the gathering cards cards
@Neko Majin C
Yeah this event fucking sucks. I see mostly adult people buying the 40 dollar bundles with the 3 helpers. Why the hell do people still spend so much in this game? I’ll never understand. It just gives Gameloft more reason to make these impossible.
@Artistic Fox
Yes, I paid attention at it as well.
First, the last event with the blue gems… I was able to finish those event without paying gems or Real money if I left an autoclicker on for the night.
For the last event, I was not even close to win the prize like that.
Now the same happens with this blue coin event. 948 power and 1084 is the amount I need to reach. And after that, another boss awaits with I do not know how much recommended power. And the event will end after 1 day and a half.
I think gameloft just found out that, players can win the final prize without paying real money and now, they made it impossible to win without it.
Shame..
Well, seems like we have to be fine with the second best prize. Till it is reachable. Guess, just a matter of time.
Yup, I’ve got to that point.
The most useless currency is the Heart Charms.

@Fakkom
Power of repeats. The running of events I mean. Not the autoclicker.

Same here.

With mommy and daddy’s credit card. You just put in the magic number and you get free stuff!
Seriously, pay-to-win kid’s games are fuckin’ predatory like that.
The last boss needs 1440.
