Honestly, Aliens vs Predator and Aliens in general calling their creatures simply Xenomorph’s really screwed up the definition of “Xenomorph”. Xenomorph is supposed to refer to any alien, but the franchise ruined it and now it’s easy to forget that definition and think it simply means the aliens from that franchise.
