I like to think Danny cheerfully came into the house with a big grin saying “guess what! Your grandkids are going to be the first of a new species, isn’t that awesome?” and then ran out while they were still staring openmouthed, leaving poor Megan to have to do the serious explaining.
 
Someone should really write something about that, preferably with these two but with anyone, someone having to introduce their talking magical horsey-thing lover to Ma and Pa and explain… everything. Maybe take them along on an adventure.
