While I agree with you if it’s a OOAK plushie, it’s not truly loved unless it goes everywhere & makes memories with you now is it? I had a plushie I treated with a velvet glove before, (albeit a mass producer Funrise assembly line baby) but another person convinced me to treat it like a friend, not a museum piece.
She’s a bit faded nowadays, one vinyl eye is wearing thin & almost all the sparkles in her mane are gone… but she’s still my favorite and I’m glad for the memories of my life thus far she took part in. ^^
Don’t worry. When we came back, I gave him a nice bath. He’s good as new now.
