I can see where that would be confusing, but no. An image that has profanity can still be tagged as safe, depending on how the word is used.

I though safe was for images that were assumed to be generally inoffensive, which was considered to exclude English profanity.

The vulgar tag indicates that the image has profanity, while the safe tag means that there’s nothing inherently sexual in the image.

There wasn’t an option for profane rating. Is a safe rating really correct?
Simply using the word “fuck” doesn’t make an image explicit.
