It was obviously done so the name could still technically be fanservice.
She may have shown interest in muffins in the actual show but it was still the fandom that made her muffin crazy
Honestly, I never really liked “Muffins.” I understand they aren’t allowed to use “Derpy,” (thanks to the “Derpygate” situation years ago) but I’d rather they use something like “Ditzy,” “Dizzy,” “Dopey,” or “Bubbles.”
