actually it’s really more like how there’s that adage about how half of everyone you meet will be below average. there are a lot of selfish and idiotic and gullible people out there and telling them that they know better than everyone else (or in the case of your message, that they’re more brave than everyone else) is remarkably effective in of getting them to do something.
not saying you belong to the lower half (but lol, ‘flue’ with no sight of a chimney), but i do have to wonder what kind of posts you’d be making if someone had said ‘what are you, scared to wear a mask?’ before you read whatever you did.
