…ok, well there’s still a big difference between Famicom and Super Famicom, and no matter how you slice it, there’s no way you can pull this off on an 8-bit system.

Famicom/NES is 8 Bit, while Super Famicom/SNES is 16 Bit, just like the Genesis, so you never know.

Nah, looks more like SNES. Especially the enviorment, which reminds me of the Intro Stage city level from the first MegaMan X for SNES.
