Quite possibly; the Pillar busts you see in the epilogue were there in S8, so they were never proof of death (maybe Mistmane would be dead, though), and age spells were established to exist for the “highest level unicorns” back in Magic Duel, so it’s very probable that he’d be capable of doing them, as long as he’s presumably been around before banishment.

Honestly, I prefer Princess Twilight Sparkle remain the height she was during the second half of the series; almost a head taller than the average mare. I do agree with you that I wish Twilight Sparkle remained Princess of Ponyville and the Princesses of Canterlot being her political allies. Like factions or countries or ya’know- kingdoms?
Multiple kingdoms ruled by multiple royals wouldn’t hurt. While vacationing sisters was cute, I wish their vacation was temporary, not permanent.
I’ll probably build a redesign of MLP where things are more organized like IRL countries and stuff.

I’d have rather had her Luna, or in-between sized, personally, even if I don’t hate it. ~For that matter, the show would’ve been better off having her be ascending to be an equal to them, not replacing them, per slavishly adhering to Faust’s original plans for her to be Celestia’s successor, and if they were going for replacement, ~~Starlicorn wouldn’t have hurt.~~~
Starlight would be about as “worn-out” as Star Swirl, in all likelihood, that is to say, not really. Besides, Starlight has Sweetie Belle (who would undoubtedly be very good at magic by that point) working for her, and she gets to mentor Luster Dawn.

I don’t know, it just feels like the creators of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic undermineded Princess Twilight Sparkle because she became a princess.

Maybe starlight glimmer taught her the spell, and it would’ve been cool if we see starlight teach her something and maybe some other things to the other CMCs, like how twilight did in “twilight time”.

I personally never liked Princess Twilight Sparkle growing to be as tall as Princess Celestia.
Look on the bright side, Starlight’s old and and worn out and Twilight’s a goddess who can wooed the sun like a baseball bat
