I mean, I don’t know if as much time ed between the Zero and ZX series as the Classic and X series did, but I do know that a long time did between Classic and X…
I personally would have used Megaman X and Megaman Zero as the before and after, since they have a much clearer divide between them artistically. But I can understand why ZX was specifically used, since it has an all-new cast of characters.

Starforce didn’t bomb, it was shut down along with the rest of the franchise after Capcom and Inafune split up.
