The day they found me i hadn’t yet been played
Inside my workshop behind the old arcade
Electric desires had unraveled all my wires
Now i’m in a box for safekeeping
Reminds me of when I used to play at the local arcade during school lunch hour…I was just like this on Street Fighter vs X-Men 2 (when I was allowed to play - a bunch of the biggest boys would hog the machine and force the rest of us out to other games)
I’m reminded of a quote from a written review for the bad video game Time Killers.
“[The reviewer’s brother] had this priceless imitation of the average Time Killers player… he’d spread his fingers over an imaginary control , briefly look up at an invisible screen, then fix his gaze on the controls and frantically hammer away at buttons for three seconds. Ain’t it the truth, ain’t it the truth!” – Fighter’s Misery

Looks like she’s settled for physically beating it instead. Soon we’ll see if the arcade cabinet is as hard as the game inside is.
Fatality. Arcade Machine Wins.
Would destroying the arcade machine count as winning?
