This is something I wanted to make for a week, but back then I was working on a commission, so this had to wait. Some details were added right at the final phase of the drawing, such as the use of Twilight’s magic to make her slap more damaging and the manga anger icon. To gain some time, this was made in a A5 piece of paper in one day, from the sketch to the final result. I think the small size helped a lot during the making of this.
I think what happened in the Academy Awards ceremony is the result of really pushing dark humor in the wrong place. As much as I love dark humor, it’s not the right type of comedy for a film ceremony. After all, we’re here to see the winners. Because of that, I can’t defend Chris Rock here.
Speaking of films, Dune got so many awards! I’m glad that the Oscars did this film justice.
Yet again, the ponified scene interpretation of the “Death Knockout After Stalking For Too Long” from Grand Theft Auto V (2013), or even more, the Kuze Punch from Yakuza 0 (2015).
