He and the old woman Yukari from Touhou will be very good friends if they meet.

The show outright said he used to be an immortal despot. Alicorns were never mentioned to be immortal; that was a fanon thing, even after age magic was introduced.
And if they were immortal, you’d think they’d mention that to Shining when he married Cadance.

All evidence points towards Discord being the only truly immortal being right now, even in G5. In his first appearance of G4 he mentioned being alive ‘eons’. One eon is half a billion years, at least according to its use in geology and astronomy.
Oldcord: Discord, reform Cosmos and marry her. If you marry a mortal, you end up like me… or just marry Ember, Spike looks more interested in Rarity than in her.
