@Chopsticks
I’m not really here to kink shame you or argue with you, but come on. You really look at this picture and think its not at least suggestive? But maybe because you’ve fetish in that you downplay it. So, whatever make you sleep at night bro.
If that was up to me I would tag every vore tag to at least suggestive as default. Especially since you agree that death is not safe (with is the end result of being eaten).
And no, I don’t believe that your picture is on the same shelf as that tixie screencap.
@zykfryt_uchiha
You should’ve been here long enough to know by now that “Safe” as a tag has nothing to do with danger or safety, but content restriction rating, how clean the image is (although swearing does not change the image tag rating).
All unaltered screencap images are automatically labeled “Safe”, which includes the video of Trixie being swallowed, which also has “vore” in it. As such by site policy, being swallowed and the concept of vore can be deemed “Safe”; the video is proof of this. The same is true for “potty emergency”, even though it contributes to the “omorashi” fetish.
An image not Safe either means there is semi-grimdark or grimdark material (abuse, blood, gore, death, freakish horror, simply being swallowed whole is not included)…
Or there is sexually visual content, even if it’s not seen directly it can rank Explicit (innuendos don’t seem to count either, even if it involves foals).
Images of vore by site policy are not automatically deemed not Safe.
.
Personally if it were up to me, I’d have the “vore” tag completely removed from all images unless it’s specifically tailored to the fetish when the detail is shown (in mouth, in throat, or stomach or that impossible stomach enlargement is involved).
@Chopsticks
I haven’t tried it myself, but that should be possible with the complex filter “vore, NOT screencap” and “mawshot, NOT volumetric mouth”
All-caps AND, NOT, and OR are special keywords that work as logical operators.
@dzamie
I wondered if there was a way to create tag exceptions, like “vore, [exception=screencap]” or something.
I don’t mind if characters get swallowed, just don’t want to see the insides of a mouth, or that impossibly large stomach, or x-ray view of being digested… clearly hallmarks for the fetish. Like if there was a “vore fetish” tag that was required to carry the “Suggestive” tag as implied, and it was separated from just any or implied “vore”.
There is also a “mawshot” tag I’d love to hide, but it’s often tied to the completely cartoonish and innocent “volumetric mouth” and any time a character is just screaming with a crop or focus on the face the “mawshot” gets attached.
@Chopsticks
You could always use the “complex spoiler/hide filter” box for something like “vore, artist:*” to filter all vore that has an artist tag (that is, all vore not from the show). It wouldn’t be perfect, but it’d be a solid start.
And yeah, though I think some of the pred/prey tags are underpopulated due to obscurity.
I had no idea vore tags existed for who was the swallower and who was swallowed.
And yet for all the vore tags there are, I can’t seem to find one to turn off seeing all the art of it I’d rather not see while allowing anything safe from like the show.
That said, I’m surprised by how unpopular this is. I guess you either have to go all the way with vore or not at all.
So naturally, the mindless cube wanted to eat him even more! :D

Are you trying to be snarky? Can’t you give me honest answer on how image depicting fetish/paraphilia is safe?

Is that an honest-to-goodness response? I’d assume you’d know how the tag system works and what “safe” means.
and your point is? ponies on the screencap sure doesn’t think its safe.
I dunno, that doesn’t look very safe for Trixie :P
