Generally speaking, the hardware tech industry has cut back on their warranty/return policies because there are too many internet trolls looking to cash in on product launch clickbait.
Case in point: your Nintendo story. There were no launch Switch problems. It was just internet trolls intentionally damaging their Switch and/or making unprovable claims of faulty manufacturing.

Yeah, I’ve been hearing that too. Kinda like how some people who use a USB hub on their Steam decks causes them to immediately brick. Though I believe that when they sent out their second wave of units, some of the battery cells slipped through quality control causing some owners to end up with a faulty deck. On the plus side though they’ve been pretty good with customer service that and people can always get replacement parts through Ifixit when the warranty expires.
Unlike Nintendo, I hearing about the Switch at launch and how people ended up with a broken device. Nintendo pretty much told them “Hey not our problem.” Needless to say it didn’t go over well.

I’d heard from one of my tech channels there’s something wrong with the cabling on the RTX 4000 series that’s been causing shorts. So yeah, they either brick themselves or brick other components, I can’t which.

In size. But probably weight too.
Like in weight? Or like it bricks easily? I’m legitimately asking.
Yeah, the 6950xt is a hefty boy, I wonder who would follow under that category?
