Blueblood, desperate to have glorified fame, decided he is going to send Assassins after Celestia. But yet, Celestia still stands, Assassins mean nothing to a demi-god. :)

My headcanon is that he is respectful torwards those he considers of worthy standing like the royal family and Twilight who comes from a well respected Canterlot family.
Whereas ponies like AJ and Rarity, lowly ponies trying to make it big, he considers little more than servants. Which explains why he treated Rarity not with disdain but simply as his maid.

Call me crazy, but I kinda read it more wholesome that that. I interpreted the scene as Prince Blueblood, this alicornication Bluey at least, was nervous about assassins going after him considering he was Celestia’s nephew. He was nervous and doubted his aunty, the nicest most regal pony ever could deal with cold hearted murderers…only for her to tell him that they all failed while the Canterlot Castle staff was still cleaning up the rather messy aftermath of Celestia defending her nephew while he slept through her kicking assassin butt!
At least that’s what I felt from the pic and found amusing. maybe even inspiring.

Agreed. Celestia is his Aunt after all and Celestia like cares for him too. It’s all about family.
