I agree that Rarity should be Troi. They’re both the sex appeal, after all.
Maybe Spike for Data? He doesn’t have the lack of emotions, but he’s exploring what it means to be a pony or a dragon, and therefore what it means to be /himself/, and he’s terribly loyal to Twilight–see Picard/Data/The Borg.

AJ as Riker, a bit weird with the beard, but she is pretty much the same role
Pinkie as Geordi, she does construct some interesting contraptions
Dashie as Worf, both have hot headed tendencies when the writers want to explore it
Rarity as Data…IDK I guess poster just needed to fill out the main roster, but I think would have been better as Troi
Fluttershy as Doctor Crusher works
