Is it strange that the part of this that sets me off is the fact that Pinkie Pie slid horizontally parallel to Fluttershy instead of stacked on-top as she should’ve?
Otherwise, I’d totally have gone along with this comic. Other than the sort of comical way they draw Discord compared to the rest of it.

I think Discord’s design in this comic compared to the rest is similar to the purpose of Leisure Suit Larry character design:
