I don’t think Izzy is THAT different from Pinkie Pie, especially in Tell Your Tale, and I do feel like her quirky, happy-go-lucky personality is meant to make Izzy fill the same role Pinkie filled for the Mane 6. She’s definitely not a carbon copy, she has her differences. Different interests, less experience with friendship, not being as over-emotional or as hyperactive. But she’s still meant to be the bubbly, quirky comic relief that still has depth that Pinkie was.

I watched G5 and tbh she’s way too different ans I’ve yet to see her Warp Reality.

I agree with most of what you said but uhhhh, speak for yourself in that “Everyone knows Pinkie Pie was annoying” point. I, for one, adore the cotton candy party pony.
Izzy has definitely dipped in popularity based on what you said though, but not much. She still has a sizable and loyal fanbase. I see a lot less flack for her than I do for Sunny and Hitch, even from the harshest G5 critics (Even if, personally, I’d take Sunny and Hitch at their worst writing than Izzy at her worst writing—)

Lol speak for yourself, on multiple fronts: Pinkie is my second favorite of the Mane Six, Izzy is distinct from Pinkie (she has some similar traits, but very much feels like her own pony, especially in the CG stuff), and I’m 31, and Izzy is and always has been my favorite character from G5. 🤷

Zipp Storm has grown in fan-popularity since the first G5 movie and it’s going to be harder for the mlp fans to keep liking Izzy after they get older because Izzy is a lot like Pinkie Pie, and everyone knows that Pinkie Pie was annoying in fim. If Izzy didn’t have Pinkie Pie’s personality, then she might’ve been more likeable. Too bad Hasbro messed up with Izzy and ruined her.

It was effing 2 years ago, from the time of the movie, when Pipp danced, hung from the ceiling and sulked alot. Some duck is upset she has so much attention now and is stirring up trouble And if it’s not this, it will be Sunny doubting herself, Izzy being ‘just’ Pinkie 2.0 and the Pippsqueaks not being real characters
WAY too outdated. Hitch is actually the one that lags the most in recent polls from the Mane 5, and from G5 ponies in general it’s probably Opaline who is the least popular.
