thing is.. regardless of how everyone else feels about Cozy herself… Derpy would still feel bad that she crashed into her. I mean, look at that expression..
And with everyone else attached to the statue.. who knows if any of them were affected as well, since they were petrified as a group. She might have taken them all out by accident by breaking Cozy.

yeah she did every one (not just ponies) a favor there anyway, besides the world is better save with them dead anyway, especially cozy.
I always just enjoy Cozy’s evilness. I guess I wouldn’t mind if she was reformed and became like Starlight but I get to at least see a really cool villain.
I always ire villains like Cozy and Starlight. A simple pegasus filly and a slightly more powerful unicorn did things more fearsome than a bunch of gods and monsters.
I don’t wanna get to much into this never ending argument as it’s 2024 but discord siding with tirek is not the same as cozy glow betraying everyone after the school of friendship.

Discord took convincing to do that and even before getting betrayed by tirek showed signs of remorse and didn’t reveal that he knew that the alicorns gave their magic to twilight until tirek convinced him that he was his friend.
He was operating under the belief that fluttershy and the others didn’t view him as a friend or want him to be himself. That tirek could offer him something more valuable than friendship.
Also having just fluttershy while being hated by everyone else is not even close to the same system as EVERYONE in the cast at the school caring for her and treating her as a friend like the student 6, cmc, And mane six.

When was the last time Discord was taught anything? He always has to learn something after mes because no one teaches him anything.
Discord may have done more bad overall than cozy but cozy is certainly more evil in nature. Discord is a spirit of chaos and disharmony, his very existence is meant to go against friendship and to cause havoc around him and YET he still found the light and wants to be a better person despite all his mistakes and faults. Had no friends or family until recently.
Cozy glow is a normal pony who chooses to go against friendship even after being handed literally everything and given she never says anything, this sad backstory or reasoning for her actions that fans claim is fanfiction and headcanon lol
This is not to say it would be impossible for cozy glow to be redeemed or you can’t think this was too harsh (even though there not awake and escaped in idw s10 anyways)
