As for the situation Pecan is, it’s that she is useful enough to Grizzly to keep Pecans family from getting ideas, but not so useful that she’s willing Pecan to be lazy and a drain on her resources. Also, Grizzly dosn’t give enough of a damn about Pecan to do her a real solid, and only cares about maximizing her own wealth and power. Grizzly is also prone to making rash decisions based off emotion’s and biased, but here it is just a cost benefit analysis.

As for her skin, it’s partly a reference to that zebras are in fact black with white stripes, but mostly it’s that shes a wastepony, so most of her body is actuary dark in color. Though if she ever becomes old, she will turn albino.

Whoa! Pecan looks so different without her fur and mane I guess thats why zony are so exotic her skin is all dark blue not only that she looks like a special earth pony in disguise. If my memory serves me correctly one of your fimfiction stories did mention that pecan meets a pony call cold trails, they spend time together, fell in love, and got married with many foals of their own. Oooh I’m excite to see how these two will meet in the comic and what nsfw lewd things that they’ll do together during pecan time at Ursa Rest all the way to their happy ending as a true loving couple!
