@HighRollerHydra
That probably would’ve caused some issues to. Though, ittedly, I can understand some of the censorship. I can kinda understand why they didn’t show James with the big fake inflatable boobs, which was a li’l disturbing. (But kinda funny to, lol)
@HighRollerHydra
4Kids actually did show some guns being fired by the police in earlier episodes of SX, I recall, but edited the sound effects to sound more like lazers oddly. I guess “lazers” are less “violent” somehow.
They also wouldn’t show an entire Poke’mon episode at all in America, just because there was a Cowboy-ish character who had a gun, and even at one part pointed one at Ash.
@Blissey1
Got to love the acting, and cheesy lines. :P
“Look out, Tails! You’re going to crash! AHHH!”
@Beau Skunky
Don’t get me started on the infamous scene from Sonic Adventure, when the police shot Chaos (and failed). That scene was also in Sonic X during the Adventure adaptation, but naturally, because “guns are evil”, they didn’t show the shooting in the English dub.
@Beau Skunky
Sort of reminds me of the Sonic X dub, and the fact that the guy in charge of dubbing it took the job despite knowing absolutely nothing about the games.
@Background Pony #D662
Y’know, looking back at “Banjo Tooie,” that game was full of alot of “dark/edgy humor,” especially compared to the first Banjo game.
@Background Pony
Yeah, it wasn’t bad, though they made Kirby kinda brainless, and they kinda focused more on Tiff & Tuff at times. (I guess to keep his “silent protagonist” trait in tact, aside from a few cutesy sounds he makes.)
Also, a shame 4Kids edited out the original BGM. (Which included some musical cues from the games.) Kinda odd, sense they kept the Poke’mon music in tact.
She doesn’t look that big. :c
