My niece does that. We got home one year, did our standard “inspection to make sure the candy was safe, cough cough.” She began swapping things with her brother, and showed particular distaste for whoppers. Personally, I love whoppers and made a comment like, “I’d gladly pay for whoppers.” Instantly, she scooped them all up and held them out to me with this bright look of expectation. I figured that I did open that door and she was more than willing to walk through, so I grabbed out my wallet and gave her, I think it was three bucks for a handful of little Halloween packages of whoppers.
I didn’t really have any friends except 2 from ages 3 to 15, so there wasn’t much chance to. I get the feeling that maybe I traded candy once, but I don’t much of it.
“Falling Down” is a movie starring Michael Douglas from 1993. It’s like Frank Grimes in The Simpsons (who dies by the end of the episode) in a lot of ways, but in movie form, and he’s angrier. He’s mad at anyone who crosses him criminally (or is just plain rude, or is a shyster, or just companies) in the city he lives in. He’s kind to children and doesn’t want to hurt them, but in a lot of ways, he’s “just had it” with the city. All while he just wants to just go home to his (divorced) wife and his little daughter on her birthday, while cutting across town in the most direct route by walking.

I did, but didn’t have anone to trade with. Sure my brothers said they would trade with me, but their trades were always to take my good stuff and give nothing. I’ve since gotten my revenge, and continue to get it every year.
@Poncho-via
I never got those comics despite being a rather obvious target. Which is frustrating because once I learned about them, I wanted to start a collection of them!
I must have been hanging out with the right crowd.
“You mean the wrong crowd?”
No.

Pretty good, from what I’ve heard.
“This is what happens when you’re not economically viable.”
“Falling Down” is a movie from the 90s with a tone that isn’t suitable for little fillies.
