I don’t really think they look that “anthro” (half human, half animal) personally. They look humanized with their pony colors. They might’ve scrapped the “ears, horns, and wings” look. (Or at least for the movie.)
While I like some anthro’ art, I never really liked the term “furry.” I missed the days when we just called them “cartoon animal people.”
I meant more giving them DMT but your idea works too.
BTW what if Hasbro’s actually targeting furries with these? What if it has nothing to do with Barbie or Monster Higher? I mean the toy art, apparently, is showing anthros.
@Parzival
They won’t dethrone Barbie, they know they won’t, and they don’t have to. They just have to take a few percent of the sales of Barbies, and convert them into sales of Equestria Girls. That’s profit they didn’t have before, aka growth.
…
… tl;dr
In all seriousness though, Hasbro is still not very smart, as previously stated, competing with Barbie is like trying to remove all the sand from a beach, you may make a dent, but you’ll never finish it.
@sixtyfour215
Everything? It’s very obviouslky made to cash in on Monster High’s popularity, just watch ONE webisode of MH and then the EQG trailer and you’ll understand.
Doesn’t matter which one, just go on youtube now and click the first one you see.
Well, but she was not really in these jobs, just wearing the clothes in a sexy way and posing in ads with toy props. But have you seen a:
“Barbie Badass”
“Barbie Superhero”
“Barbie Doctor Who”
“Barbie Amish”
“Barbie Horror”
“Barbie Killer”
“Barbie Pokemon Trainer”
“Barbie Tsundere”
i have never seen them and i do not think they exist…
I’m pretty damn sure that there’s a Secret Agent Barbie somewhere.
She’s been an astronaut and a marine, after all.
Even a “Barbie Technological-Spy-Matrix-Girl-with-3D-Glasses-and-a-License-to-Kill”???
It especially bugs me that bugs bunny, Micky Mouse and other cartoon animals with human traits also match the description of furry.

What about costume companies?
Furries, really? I don’t think they even represent a group in the eyes of almost any company.
I meant more giving them DMT but your idea works too.

I WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I POURED WATER ON THIS “PUSSASIUM” STUFF!
BETTER HOLD IT CLOSE TO MY FACE TO SEE ANY REACTIONS!
That’s not what I meant.
Yeah, combine kids with chemicals and oh yes indeed it’s fun time.
Actually, you’d be surprised how well those two go together.

ib4 inevitable spinoff where all the ponies become Bob Hope.
Also Life in the Dreamhouse was goddamn amazing.
>Asking that on a MLP image site.
Irony never ceases to amuse me.
Wait, you’re a girl?
I never got barbie dolls as a kid, just Pokemon and dinosaurs and whatever else I liked.
I’d say Transfomers is bigger, but different part of the toy market and all that, so doesn’t really matter.
