Hopefully it helps, I’d suggest forge modloader. Its the one I use so I’m going by personal preference. Just to run minecraft with just forge (no other mods at all) so that way it can cleanly create the forlders and files it needs to.

Yes. I’ve been doing the same thing I’ve done for previous versions of the mod/ Minecraft, and it worked. I did notice that the files contained in the mod look different for 1.5.2. Perhaps I will indeed have to try one of these modloaders.

Sometimes it’s easier to use a mod pack launcher like Tekkit or Feed The Beast. FTB has a base pony pack that I’m sure you could add your own mods to.

I mean, the website for the mod says they’re up to date with 1.5.2, which is the current release. If I was tweaking the jar wrong, I would get a blank screen/ crash when attempting to , right?
Have you thougth of using a ponified “I like trains” kid as your minecraft skin? :P

Are you adding it to the minecraft.jar and deleting meta-inf or using a modloader?
