Some argue because death gives an “ultimate” result it makes it more reliable, yeah, from a glorified fanfic with little plot and many contrivances and out of context stuff.
You can’t take as factual something that had no involvement from the actual creators like like Toei Animation, nor Marvel, nor Capcom, much less Hasbro. At most is a good case of “fair use” but that’s about it.

Yeah, that’s another problem. Powerscalers tend to disregard morality and character when pitting them up against each other because they want it to be a death match.

As a powerscaler I agree. Like, I do love using science and evidence to explain why Twilight could theoretically shatter the multiverse…

For all s the original founder of Screwattack doesn’t really hold the show in high regard because of personal experiences.
Nonetheless this pic is not a good comparison because Chrysalis is often easily beaten partially because of self-sabotage and things could go on whims at times.
Not to mention is not clear if it is “Power vs power” or it is “Rock Paper Scissor”. Tirek supposedly could simply absorb Rarity and Spike’s magic.

I know, I heard! And I knew about what Craig said WAY before because he said he years earlier on the Game Attack channel he regrets letting Ben make Death Battle because it overshadowed all the other shows.
The video itself is called “Death Battle killed Screw Attack” or something like that.
Honestly, the reason why this logic falls apart it’s because it has no consistency whatsoever.
Suddenly Spike can be easily captured by Chrysalis, although later Chrysalis gets easily trounced back.
Not to mention the case in the middle happened after being winded up and roughed previously since the first and third case happened in a relatively fresh situation. Then again the constant need to make villains threatening by beaten wimpy pillars seems rather dumb even though the pillars are meant to be powerful. Although later on Tirek is stronger than Chrysalis or at least has a bigger power potential.
Honestly, I think this only gives validation for why Twilight should’ve been kept a unicorn.

Granted there are a couple of other valid complaints fans have brought up:
1.) Lauren Faust made it clear in an interview that while Twilgiht was to be a successor for Celestia in some way, she didn’t say anything about Twilight being an alicorn or a princess.
2.) This was a thing that was done because it was initially thought the series was going to end and they didn’t have any ideas, so they just threw this in at the last minute… Meaning that Twilight ascending to alicornhood was a case of shark jumping.

However, to get to the point I’m trying to make here?
I think one of the biggest issues that came from Twilight becoming an alicorn was the sheer amount of wonky power scaling that seemed to constantly change depending on the whims of an episode’s plot.
And I know this because, prior to the season 3 finale, fans were already aware of the sheer raw magical output that alicorns themselves are supposed to have, to the point where Celestia and Luna were fairly close to being deities due to their positions of raising the sun and moon.
And it’s because of that, unfortunately, that I think the writers shot themselves in the collective foot, given that this led to the implementation of the “worf effect”. I can’t emphasize this enough when I say that I LOATHE this trope.
It’s a contrived way of making a villain seem more of a threat than they have ANY right, it becomes more face palm inducing when it’s done MULTIPLE TIMES throughout a series.
So yeah, if people want to know why the power levels in FiM seem to be all over the place? There’s your answer. :/

Side note:
Despite what the Hearth’s Warming Eve episode claims, I never once believed for an instant that unicorns ever raised the sun and moon before Celestia and Luna came around when considering the ridiculously uneven power dynamic in Equestria that would’ve created.
Seriously, if that were the case, the unicorns would’ve had the most power and influence of the three tribes and the entirety of the world Equestria resides in by extension (when you consider how much our own world needs the sun and moon).
Given the pageant was being held at Canterlot; it’s possible that this particular detail was something that the more elitist and egotistical unicorns from Canterlot likely made up in order to stroke their own egos, with most of the other ponies only really going along with it due to the history regarding who or what was raising the sun and moon before the princesses was probably lost to time.
It’s kinda like how it’s possible that the actual history of how the pegasi were first tasked with Equestria’s weather is relatively unknown, since it’s possible that the weather throughout Equestria used to naturally occur on its own without any outside influence (in fact, I believe that unlike with current Equestria, the weather system throughout the rest of the world is naturally occurring).
Heck, for all anyone knows, that massive blizzard that caused the three pony tribes to unite likely eventually led to the pegasi being tasked with keeping Equestria’s weather under control in order to prevent something like that from ravaging Equestria again when you consider not only the possibility of freezing to death? But especially when you consider the kind of damage that blizzards can do to crops, buildings, and so on.

Are we talking about magical lasers not being bullets, or bullets in Suicide Squad game not being ordinary bullets? Because even if it’s like an alien or advanced or Kryptonite bullet, it’s still pretty lame for all the heroes to die by the same fashion, especially my big man Batsy.

You mean the “imposter” Floyd Lawton who can pull off executions even more flawless than this new guy did?
Guy pulled off a near perfect crime or even nearly killed Batman with his skill of ricochet. This new guy keeps missing every shot.

Flash literally heard the shot as it was fired and dodged it twice, once at long range, once at point blank.
That would require he have the Spidey Sense. Which none of the DC guys have.
Don’t forget the the SPEED disparity as well. A regular bullet would still kill Flash if, you know… he couldn’t react to ATTOSECONDS
