Diogenes was an Ancient Greek philosopher who was known for his flippant attitudes toward his contemporaries and authority in general. One story about him goes that he wanted to poke fun at the definition others had come up with for a man being a two-legged creature with no feathers. So he plucked a chicken, brought it into the lecture hall, and exclaimed “Behold, a man!”.
The one who defined a man as a featherless biped was Plato, who Diogenes was particularly keen on messing with.
I know of Diogenes but not that tale yet hahah, always good for a laugh

I didn’t hear that one yet. I’m interested.
