They are reasonably priced here. They both seems okay for me, I just want to have ONE handheld console for once (unless you count Snakes 2 on my Nokia).

On the DS or a Vita?
to me the 3DS makes more sense, it’s cheaper(or it should be, I don;t know where you are but if a 3DS XL cost less and comes with a memory card where as a Vita only have them in bundles) and to me there are more games for it as it still plays older DS games.

It’s a quirky RPG/simulation series where your character moves into a town, does trade-quests with villagers to get items, earns money by catching fish/bugs/doing errends for neighboors, and such. You also have customization over your house, and village, can make your own clothes patters, and such to decorate it however you want.
There’s alot more to it then that, but it’s a nice series, and a pretty relaxing game, which makes it a good break from harder games. It’s also surprising how attached you get to your NPC neighboors. (I actually got sad when Gabbi one of my favorites moved out of my town.)
Also, would be cool if you get to customize your Animal Crossing Villager/Player character in the new SSB game, or even use the one from your Animal Crossing 3DS game.

I can’t afford those consoles, and Gamecube was never sold here. Even now I’m on a fence whether to get the newest DS or a Vita.
