Peanut butter is better bait than cheese, but one time shortly before Christmas I was overrun with mice and didn’t have any in the house, and the stores were closed. I was in the process of making “high test” Christmas cookies with whiskey in them, so I used the batter to bait my traps, and caught so many mice I lost count.
