It’s not painful in the least. A universal constant among emotion eaters, like changelings, cubi, sirens, and the like, is the whole experience feels absolutely amazing. Can’t have those eggs tainted with negative emotions caused by pain or fear, after all :P

They’re overly protective of even perfect strangers carrying their eggs. If one already loved you, a siren would destroy an entire country if it meant protecting you :P
