From people calling merely chubby characters “obese”, sometimes morbidly.
To people talking about their skinny and at worst fleshy characters with shit like “omg he so fuckin fat haha look at him he’s a whale~” when they’re just talking about a twink with a fleshy middle and a realistically regularly large butt, not even a potbelly.
If there’s no hyperbole then why bother with such specifically exaggerated exaggerations and adjectives? I’m all for freedom of expression but there comes a point where you’re just not saying what you mean or what is actually there.
