The other one might be Dragon’s Lair? Or some ponyverse equivalent…
It’s Them’s Fighting Herds.
I do feel bad for not crediting the artist of the art I used, but it’s the official game art, and I couldn’t find ANY credit information.
On the one hand, I am impressed by the wide spread of ages that follow this story. Altho, on the otherhand I playing the original Breakout arcade game, so now I feel old.
I don’t know everyone’s age, obviously, but I know that I have at least one reader who is 60-ish, and some that are only around 18. (and I’m sure absolutely nobody younger than that, and I will continue to be sure of that for liability reasons, not because I actually care who does and doesn’t look at porn)

It’s not something old. It’s Them’s Fighting Herds. :P
Oh, I have only seen references and parodies of TFH here on Derpibooru. I’ll have to check it out.
Sorry. Not good with arcade units.

That’s the name I was looking for! There was only one popular arcade game back then with such vibrant colors.

I am old enough, but we were too rural for arcades.
My friends and I gamed at each others homes with Atari 2600, 5200, ColecoVision, and an Apple IIc.

Nice jukebox, though.

I’ve been waiting for someone to comment on that, and the other machine. :)

“TRON” Recognizer video game?
SPACE PARANOIDS. Just like Kevin designed it.
Almost pulled my attention away from the ‘nice tracts of land’ in the foreground.
