A “god” that needs to sleep, can get hurt, does age (age magic keeping you young doesn’t count), marries a mortal with no one saying it’s a bad idea, gets hungry, needs air, only Flurry was born an Alicorn and still ages, are vulnerable, not invisible, and can retire is not a god at all.
Immortality would imply indestructibility, and they’re very much destructible.
Demi-gods, maybe, but Discord is the only one mentioned to be immortal in-show.
