G2 actually had a lot of official Egmont magazines in UK and Europe, with lore like meeting magical creatures sometimes besides slice of life e.g. ponies going to school, but sadly they’re barely online, people don’t scan them much.
On top of that, G2 also had audio stories in Dutch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgEqLYzA18k).

Wish I could get my hands on some of the issues, they’re some of the little world-building of the Gen but are very poorly archived.

Oh I didn’t mean the toys. I meant it doesn’t have a show or many books to give stories
It has a lot! Most of the toys were released overseas.
