I’ve also always thought the English versions of most cartoons sound better than the dubs in my native tongue. There are only like 3 or 4 that I prefer to watch in Finnish because the voice actors did such a good job mimicking the originals or sounded better.

For me it was Cupcake fanfic. I read it for fun and it was very interesting, well written story.
After reading it I did want to learn more about characters and I end up watching season 1 in Polish and after ending it there was like 2 weeks away from premiere of season 2 in Polish despite whole season 2 already being released in English. I thought hey I can wait 2 weeks. Next day later I was like “NO I NEED TO WATCH SEASON 2 NOW” and I did watch it in English and I realized two things:
  1. that English version sounds way better
  2. I love Friendship is Magic show
