Background Pony #77FD @EmiliaStern Well you mentioned the wing hands were strange in your first comment, so I shared some thoughts on wings and hands… so… the reason why is: I’m just sharing my own thoughts in response to yours Posted 11 months ago Report Link Quote Reply
EmiliaStern @Background Pony #77FD ….okeeeeeey. But for what do you tell about it? Posted 11 months ago Report Link Quote Reply
Background Pony #77FD @EmiliaStern The bones and musculature of a bird’s wing are equivalent to your arm and hand, same with a bat. But the bird’s ‘fingers’ are quite small, a bat’s ‘fingers’ are most of their wings. The bird ‘fingers’ are located towards the edge of their wing. It’s much harder to tell with a bird because a lot of it is covered by their plumage Posted 11 months ago Report Link Quote Reply
EmiliaStern @Background Pony #77FD I don’t quite understand what you’re talking about… I mean, that’s strange for me when pegasi feathers using like fingers in art cuz they’re just feathers! Posted 11 months ago Report Link Quote Reply
Background Pony #77FD @EmiliaStern Ironically avian wings are more arm than hand, while bat wings are more hand than arm… though the position of the digits here does appear to line up where the digits in a bird’s wing should be Posted 11 months ago Report Link Quote Reply
