They research and interview mummies and swamp ponies to find out what they want, wish they had, and share stories about the toys they from their youth. (Also, the female mummy is the same mummy that was cured from the mold.)
They start building and testing toys and see how they work, and whether they float in water, so they are ready for the young swamp ponies
They also and ask for toy donations, toys that any pony does not need anymore
Some witches and wolf ponies brought them over (maybe also some toys and stuff for kids from other individuals from their respective towns) Also yes, some of the ponies are wolf ponies because most wolf ponies have hair you would expect from the 80s
