@DVD
Well it’s to be expected, many western Fairy Tales began as adult entertainment and are filled with euphemisums while Nursery Rhymes began as political commentary
@Erebien
The reason Bluebeard is not in the library is probably because it’s not part of the Grimms’ main work anymore. They took it out in later editions because it was to similar to another tale (“Fitcher’s Bird”). It still in the annex, but most printed versions don’t include that.
Thanks. Whatever I was gonna reference in the “outtake” it had to be in pairs. I think I did make a good job in pairing the titles referenced in each . Not sure everyone will get the links though =(
according to the internet, bluebear is about a serial killer that kills his wifes, why is on the “fairy tales” section if it doesn’t have anything magical?
@Rostam
If I have to sum it up from the summary,
Its about a rich nobleman consecutively killing his wives, until the newest wife did a c-c-c-c-combo breaker. Happy ending.
we already have those in MLP. they’re called changelings.

they aren’t, they’re grimm fairy tales
None of those are fairy tales.
bleh, I had a feeling I used the wrong word
I don’t think Fairy Tail existed for that long.
Fairy TALES on the other hand…
Watchmen
not a problem
most fairy tails we hear when we are kids always have happy endings, its when we look up the others is when we all go “WTF”

Just another bad harem anime
well, that was quick, nice slow clap
as I stated, Shy can’t find a story that doesn’t give her the willies

I think old school, child stealing, cannibalistic, sadistic fairies would make pretty good villains for MLP.
@anontypesetter
Man I really need to read Preacher again.
Sorry for the spam guys, just thought it would be funny to post these as outtakes.
It is probably a technicality. It is considered a folktale, and many of the tales the Brothers Grimm collected were folktales.
