I FINISHED ITI began this piece ages ago! I have a folder full of pony pieces in varying states of completion, abandoned when I pick up another project or get busy in life. This was one of those pieces with a sketch that I LOVED..but that I didn’t think I was good enough to finish. “I’ll get back to this when I’m better at painting.”Well, I’m still nowhere near where I’d like to be, but I FINISHED IT! I learned a lot of new tricks too, and things I’d do differently if I painted this again. So…don’t look too hard at the painting. Just ire it from a distance, and know that I’ll do better in the next one. :’3This is a bit of a..screenshot redraw? I loved the scene in Friendship is Witchc– uh, Magic, and had to get this goofy dragon’s pose. Hopefully he looks sheepish enough here.Fun fact, I hand-drew 1,800 scales before I copied and altered the rest to fit his body. ouch. He’s got over 3,200 visible.Anyways, I hope you like this piece!
