In preparations for GalaCon, I felt like drawing some cute My Little Pony fanart again and a bond that I think deserves more love in the form of artwork is the somewhat parental role Twilight plays for Spike the dragon!
In the show, they had some sweet moments together and I enjoyed seeing how both of them grew older over time. Additionally, it always felt wholesome and like Twilight being a mother to Spike when she helped him solve problems or he was there for her like a good son! So I had lots of fun drawing these two with Brushmarkers and Coloured Pencils! Honestly, I did mess uo with Twilight’s colours in the progress, which luckily could be saved due to the Coloured Pencils - they are just so OP!
