This moment has been a long time coming. In fact, it is well overdue to a ludicrous and frankly scary level. And I’ve got no excuses for you. I should have depicted this most delightful lady way before now, considering she is a favourite of mine.

“Ugh, guess that stupid Arthur dude is doing Arthur things again, and has been doing them for the best part of 5 years. What a moron and a philistine!”

Now that I’ve gotten the self-deprecation out of the way for the moment, I just wanted to say that in my opinion, (and no matter what name you use for her,) I honestly feel that Derpy is one of the cutest characters the show ever graced us with- and I know that many of the Brony OGs won’t like this take, but I far preferred her voice in “Slice of Life” to her earlier ones.

This muffin-loving mare might well have been the subject of controversy and arguments- most of it absolutely unnecessary, I might add. But without her, the show would have lost some of that special sauce that made it hit so perfectly back in the day.

It was fun searching for her in backgrounds of the episodes, and I grew rather fond of her. And the theories and the fan content, OH, the fan content! What a time to be alive! Sometimes I wish I could experience that all over again.
