It feels like it died far sooner, but that’s what makes it so sad. We watched it suffer a drawn out and painful death. The day G5 actually died was a day of relief. The main 5, though their characterization died years before, can finally rest in peace…
By which I mean they can live on as fandom characters! I’d be more than happy to see the cast come back with their personalities from the movie. So the other way to think of it is they’re finally free to be written correctly.
