he is the adopted son of Celestia and Luna, a natural born male alicorn, the first seen in many thousands of years, no one knows where he even came from as he was dropped off as a foal at the two sister’s doorstep long after they retired to a beach house in horseshoe bay, not by any known biological parents, but by an alien spacecraft. he is academically gifted but a little socially inept at first, as well as rejecting the royalty status that normally comes with being an alicorn. he meets his first love in middle school but is just friends with her until high school, she is a gryphon named Gaila who is as big a nerd as he is.

as Equestria enters a golden age of science and technology he learns of his remarkable control of his magic, specifically replicating conditions found in deep space to induce stellar formation and life cycles including stellar death (ranging from white dwarfs, neutron stars or black holes on miniature scales), he and Gaila also discover in a series of disney shenanigans, a world inside the computers called “the grid” in the process of defeating an evil AI he loses his right eye to an identity disk and has it replaced in the real world with a cybernetic eye that can see in all spectrums.

later after Strange Quark and Gaila move to Ponyville, they meet InkPot, an alicorn batpony with a gift for the arts displaced by timeline weirdness that i will explain at a much later date. the three get married a few years later and live happy lives
